Today will be our first relaxing day. Geir made an executive decision last night that we would sleep for a full eight hours, have a slow morning with a proper breakfast and cycle at a leisurely pace for the first half of the day.
It's a beautiful, sunny day but according to weather forecasts we can expect 6 m/s winds against us, so there's really no reason to overexert ourselves. Our first leg of the Journey today is to cycle to the town of Lyxele. An eight mile trip through forest backroads. I plan to wear light clothes and enjoy the sun while I can.
We're probably going to get back on our eight hour cycling four hour rest routine as of today, because according to the weather forecast tomorrow night we'll have the wind at our backs, so we should be able to get some serious mileage at a 20kph average if we cycle at night.
It's day four and we need to start making our way north. We've got a long way to go still. Now it's breakfast time. Mmmh, proper breakfast!
